Uses Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS — runs entirely in your browser, no data stored.

What DNS A and AAAA records do

Every domain on the internet points to one or more IP addresses through DNSA records (IPv4) and AAAA records (IPv6). When you enter a domain above, this tool queries Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS service and returns every A and AAAA record currently published for that name. The lookup happens entirely in your browser — no server, no logging.

Why IP addresses matter for SEO

While Google has stated that shared hosting IP addresses are not a direct ranking factor, the infrastructure behind a domain does influence crawl efficiency, uptime reliability, and spam neighbour analysis. Domains on dedicated IPs are not penalised for their neighbours' behaviour. Multiple A records (round-robin DNS) improve availability and distribute load — Googlebot appreciates consistent, fast responses.

What this tool shows

  • IPv4 addresses — the A record values; each is a 32-bit address like 93.184.216.34.
  • IPv6 addresses — the AAAA record values; each is a 128-bit address like 2606:2800:220:1::223.
  • Record type label — clarifies whether each result came from an A or AAAA query.

How to check DNS records manually

Any DNS query tool will show the same data. You can use Cloudflare's1.1.1.1 lookup atone.one.one.one/dns, Google's 8.8.8.8 atdns.google, or run dig example.com A AAAA in any terminal.
